ST SCALE was founded in 1986, when Mauro Tarchi and Sergio Salvi, two esteemed wood craftsmen, decided to join forces and specialize in the staircase product. From the very beginning, the company experienced growth, both in its market presence and in customer appreciation, including clients with the highest expectations in terms of quality and innovation. An increasingly selective and fast-moving market led ST SCALE, in the mid-1990s, to take a further strategic step by acting directly at the source of its supply chain. The company established and managed a second facility in Romania, dedicated to supplying raw materials to the Italian headquarters. Romania is well known within the industry for the abundant availability of high-quality timber across its territory.

This step was necessary to guarantee customers both strict control over the materials used and greater responsiveness in terms of delivery times.
Today, the group employs around 60 people, each of whom has received appropriate training to ensure reliable and high-quality workmanship for ST Scale customers. The company has approximately 5,000 square meters of production facilities.
All of this reflects the company’s primary goal: customer satisfaction. This can only be achieved by paying close attention to every detail, down to the smallest element.
